Washington DC was treated to a star studded performance with the De-Bangg reloaded tour last night at the Capital One Arena. The event, organized by ace promoter Vijay Taneja of Elite Bollywood Entertainment, was attended by thousands in the capital city of United States of America. The tour includes Bollywood superstar Salman Khan along with Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Prabhudheva, Maniesh Paul, Daisy Shah and Guru Randhawa.
It was a power packed night with all of the performers settings the stage ablaze with their high-octane dance moves accompanies by LED lights and special effects. The night was kicked off by Maniesh Paul on a song titled “Da-Bangg” showcasing the stars of the tour.
Prabhudheva displayed some outstanding moves on “Jalwa”, followed by Jacqueline Fernandez’s sizzling performance on a medley of peppy Bollywood numbers. Sonakshi Sinha also set the stage ablaze with her high energy dance performance. Katrina sizzled as she grooved to popular songs like “Sheila ki jawaani” and “Swag se swagat” while Guru Randhawa rocked the crowd with Ohh Lagdi Lahore di aa.
The crowd cheered the loudest with Salman Khan’s grand entry. He performed with each of his leading ladies on various Bollywood numbers. The evening's performances included peppy Bollywood songs like “Mujhse Shadi Karogi”, “Mashallah”, “Munni Badnam”, “Chittiyan Kalaiyaan”, “Dhoom”, “Radio”, “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” amongst others.
The crowd was thoroughly entertained by Manieh Paul’s hilarious conversations with people in the audience and his one-liners about the security crew at the Capital One Arena throughout the evening. Salman Khan and the crew brought the house down with their stellar 20 minute non-stop performance that brought the night to an end.
Prior to last night’s performance, Salman Khan was presented with a certificate of recognition for global ambassador for peace through entertainment and philanthropic work by the Capital Post during a press conference on July 5th. Katrina Kaif received recognition as a Style Icon while the tour’s promoter Vijay Taneja was given a certificate of recognition for his contributions to the community through entertainment.
This was the seventh concert in a series of nine shows being held in North America. Dabang Reloaded is all set to wow the audience in New Jersey tonight followed by a performance in Toronto on July 8 concluding the tour.
