Prime Minister Imran Khan is all set to inaugurate the newly constructed dry port in Azakhel area of Nowshera on Friday.
According to official sources, the dry port that has been completed at a cost of Rs510 million will boost trade and economic activities in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and the entire region.
Earlier, Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid had said the Azakhel Dry Port project in Nowshera would help promote business and trade activities in K-P.

Addressing a news conference in Peshawar, he said it was a longstanding demand of the business community in K-P that was fulfilled by the present elected government in line of their aspirations.
Rashid added the government had also decided to open Nowshera-Dargai railways section that would help promote tourism in Malakand Division.
