Man Dies After Being Found Shot Along I-295 in Bladensburg.

A man has died after police say he was found on the shoulder of Interstate 295 in Bladensburg, Maryland, with at least one gunshot wound.

Someone found the man about 6:20 p.m. Thursday on I-295 near the Eastern Avenue exit, police said.

Prince George's County police said medics took the man to a hospital in critical condition and he died a couple of hours later.

The man had no identification on him.

Police are investigating whether the man was pushed out of a moving car.

Detectives urged anyone who has information to call 1-866-411-TIPS.

Police response affected traffic for a short time on I-295 and New York Avenue.
