Burke v Buckley v Cohen - the chart battle

Alexandra Burke and music journalist Alan Light remember how three different versions of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah came to chart in the UK at the same time.

The X Factor star had a Christmas number one in 2008 with her cover, which was her first single after winning the reality show.

But a backlash from fans of Jeff Buckley saw his version rise to number two in the charts and the debate then sparked a return to the hit parade for Leonard's original.
